One bedroom cottage with hot tub and log burner.
Romantic getaway, in a converted hayloft, lovingly crafted from many of the original materials and only just finished.
Accessed off a large, private courtyard (shared with other cottages), you step across the slate threshold to enter an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The lounge has a large and very comfortable leather sofa, with long seat for putting your feet up and snuggling into - perfect for cuddling up on. Built from the sets originally in the floor, there is a hearth with log burner and smart TV. The dinning table has a reclaimed timber top and two comfortable leather chairs, great for relaxing in after a large meal, perhaps prepared in the well equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, induction hob, oven and fridge with freezer compartment.
Out through the patio doors there's an enclosed garden with private hot tub and bistro dinning set with plenty of space for enjoying the outdoors.
Through the arch, there are oak stairs with glass balustrade leading to the first floor mezzanine and a sliding door to the bathroom. With a large barrel supporting a rock sink, a free standing copper bath and full walk in shower, this is the perfect place to soak and relax.
Up the stairs, under the spider chandelier, you have to cross the glass balustrade bridge to get to the sleeping area where there's welcoming double bed with bedside tables and lights.
All guests will arrive to a welcome pack, including something fizzy and tasty along with everything you need to make a cup of tea or coffee. Cottages also have dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels, bath sheets and hand towels and all bedding.
This cottage is suitable for 2 adults.
Away From It All
Dishes & Utensils
An amazing and well equipped holiday let, in a fab location, with easy access routes to nearby towns. We had a last minute stay here and it was fabulous, Jay and Gwen have put a lot of thought and effort into this. The finer details were great, welcome pack on arrival was a life saver! We were really relaxed here, so much so, we didn't venture too far away, enjoying the hot tub and cosy log burner. We absolutely adored the surroundings and are already planning a return visit next year.
Many thanks Tracey, we're really pleased you enjoyed your stay so much and look forward to seeing you again!
A Little Gem
Such a little gem of a place. Gwen & Jay have done a beautiful renovation job; it's cosy and so welcoming.
Thank you Jo!
